Join Us For The CPS Elementary And High School Certified Teacher Career Fair

The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Department of Human Resources (HR) invites you to attend the Certified Teacher/Guidance Counselor Career Fair. This event will focus on identifying highly qualified teacher professionals to guide our young leaders toward academic excellence. If you are that person, please plan to join us to speak with principals looking to hire teachers for vacant teaching positions for the 2009-10 school year. At this Career Fair, you will:
  • explore a variety of CPS schools with diverse academic programs;
  • meet CPS principals from schools with current available teaching positions;
  • schedule one-on-one interviews at individual schools;
  • gather information from other CPS departments regarding related programs (i.e. Teacher Housing, Substitute Teaching, etc.); and
  • bring plenty of resumes to share with CPS administrators and school personnel.
