The CPS Student Teaching Program is designed to attract outstanding
pre-service teachers by offering a unique urban teaching experience,
support, and guidance through the final phases of the traditional teacher
certification program. We are excited you are interested in learning more
about our innovative and progressive urban school district

Spring 2012 Semester Student Teacher Registration
(Student Teaching January – June 2012)
Registration is now CLOSED. The CPS is no
longer accepting registration submissions
for our spring 2012 semester (January – June).
FALL 2012 Semester Registration
(Student Teaching August – December 2012)
Fall Registration will begin April 1, 2012.

Attention Field Experience Candidates (Pre-Clinical Students, Observers, Practicum Students)
For students wishing to complete field experience within the CPS, please download the
Field Experience Registration Guide for clearance procedures. Field Experience is NOT student teaching.
Field Experience refers to students completing observations, pre-clinical hours, practicum experiences
and pre-student teaching hours. Registration for CPS Field Experience is year-round.
Once you have reviewed the registration guide, please proceed to the Field Experience Registration Page
to begin your clearance process.
