The Chicago Public Schools (CPS), Office of Substitute Services will not have an open enrollment for the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year for individuals with a Bachelor's degree or higher in fields other than education, and who have not completed student teaching. Click here and if you are a certified teacher, or if you have a degree in education with student-teaching completed. The Substitute Teacher Application is NOW CLOSED and will NOT OPEN for the School year 2009-2010 for Applicants With a Degree in Fields Other Than Education and Who Have Not Completed Student Teaching Individuals interested in becoming a substitute teacher with the CPS must complete and successfully pass the SubAssessment, an online Substitute Teacher Training Program*, before initiating the application process for substitute teaching. *About the SubAssessment Substitute Teacher Training Program SubAssessment: Availability The SubAssessment is NOT AVAILABLE at this time. |
